Reporting the World is an ongoing conversation among journalists and others about issues of representation and responsibility in international news.
The Observer called it ‘the nearest thing we have to a journalism think-tank’.
The project was created with an initial grant from the Department for International Development of the UK Government.
That covered the creation of this website, the discussions through 2001, the residential round table and the publications
- the concept document and the RtW book.
Since the initial phase it has offered an occasional series of discussions and perspectives, under directors Annabel McGoldrick and Jake Lynch.
